An MRI, or magnetic resonance image, is obtained using a state-of-the-art imaging machine that employs strong magnetic fields and radio waves to produce detailed images. As this video tells us, these cross sectional images are used by physicians to diagnose a patient’s condition.
Magnetic resonance imaging can also be used to monitor how a patient’s treatment is progressing. Patients should feel more comfortable knowing that mathematicians, computer engineers, and medical physicians at the FDA were responsible for testing the safety of these devices. Each team member helped to determine that they are effective and pose little risk to the patient.
At Advanced Medical Imaging, we help physicians and patients get the service and care that they need while facilitating the MRI process. To learn more about MRI or any of the other services we offer, visit us in Denver or call us today at (303) 647-6504.
